Children like hedgehogs for their spikes and you can talk about them during your Autumn or Spring topics as it hibernates and comes back to life.
First, draw a hedgehog like in the picture. It doesn’t have to be perfect, you will cover it anyway.
Glue some dried leaves, sticks, branches at the bottom of the page to symbolise the ground.
Start glueing the sunflower seeds with the pointed bit upwards to symbolise the spikes and keep on doing it until you cover the hedgehog.
You can put some glue and sprinkle some cinnamon ground at the top of the page, for a soil effect.
