During a trip in the park I collected some Bark that was about to fall off the trees. The next day, at school, I told the children we have new natural materials and they created their own piece of art. They look really lovely!
Welcome to the essence of harvest! "Cut the wheat and pick the beans, pull the carrots from the ground" – these simple words herald the beauty of the harvest season. Join us as we immerse ourselves in the joyous spirit of "Harvest Day."
In a world filled with busyness and chaos, taking a moment to express gratitude for the abundance in our lives can be a truly enriching experience. At the heart of this sentiment, we present a heartfelt thank you prayer with a touch of the Harvest season. Whether you choose to offer your gratitude at the end of the day or in celebration of the bountiful harvest, this prayer can serve as a beautiful reminder of the blessings that surround us.
Autumn, with its breathtaking display of colors, has a special place in my heart. It's like witnessing nature's own theater performance, where the landscape transforms into a masterpiece just for us to admire. This season carries a unique charm, and I can't help but be captivated by the vibrant hues that paint the world.

You may want to decorate the card a bit more and put a bit of colour on it. I put some random glue at the bottom of the page and glued some dried sage and cut some onion bag stripes (when you buy a bag of onions, the ‘bag’ is usually like a net, coloured red or gold and i absolutely love it for making decorations with children because it is glossy and when you cut the net it looks spiky).
This is a simple, fun, creative Autumn activity to do with your children. The Red tree is a picture you can help your children do for themselves and the one on the black background is a display board where each child painted/glittered different sizes/colours/shapes of leaves and then, we put all of them together to create an Autumn Tree Display Board.
Thistles! What a unique experience for young children, especially children who haven’t got the opportunity to do trips at the countryside too often! You will see them at the beginning being not sure if they should touch the thistles or not and when they realize the spikes are not that spiky to hurt them, you can see how long they will examine them for with their hands and cheeks, giggling at their touch!
