Bella has a very inclusive and welcoming presence that makes kids feel safe in an online environment. Bella’s use of a story as the context for learning ukulele keeps it fun for the kids, and her lesson planning is polished with visual aids that take advantage of the virtual format and help to illustrate musical concepts. My daughter is engaged, has fun, and at the end of each class, I see new skills that she has gained. For reference, my child is almost 6 years-old.
This was a fun class for my son. He really enjoyed it. I hope he will use the breathing techniques but he’s 8 so who knows. But the story was cute and it helped him better understand feelings (which is something we have worked on).
