Katie’s beginner ukulele class was really great. Katie is a patient teacher and gives each student equal attention. Her song selection is a good balance between both easy enough and difficult enough for a beginner.
I recommend this class for a young learner new to the ukulele.
My son loved this class. He enjoyed it. Ms. Katie was patient and the songs chosen were great for what they were being taught. He will likely be back after summer!
Let’s be real. Sometimes we need someone else to support teaching our kids about feelings, et al. You will want someone that truly embodies the characteristics learned in these sessions, and I feel Katie truly does.
And it matters because my child is so relaxed and actually looks forward to these classes. That is an immense accomplishment in our house! It all translates to my child actually absorbing these lessons and just having an enjoyable class experience in general. We are very appreciative for this class!

I can tell by just working with one of the teachers that the company has solid procedures to ensure the students understand and that parents are informed of what’s going on too. Best thing is that they don’t steer anyone away if only 1 student is signed up for a group class. We appreciate the entire experience.
We absolutely adore every single class we have taken with Sing Create Play. Each and every instructor is kind, patient, and engaging! This class taught my 10 year old so much in the very short amount of time she was enrolled. Other activities have started so we are only taking a break. We will definitely go back to taking Guitar classes with SCP and we know that everyone will enjoy them as much as we do!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

The Sing Create Play crew is phenomenal. The selection of teachers is organized very well. Ms Carmen is so patient with all needs of children and supports everyone individually. My daughter has benefits of growing into the young lady she is to be with this group assistance. Ms Carmen has made a way to grab the attention span to have children focused and exploring using the brain the best way in a creative manner. My daughter (11) started “Love My Uke” having never played the ukulele. She is progressing quickly and it is fun to hear her playing (and singing along!) Ms. Katie is a kind and encouraging teacher. We recommend her whole-heartedly!
This class was a great way for my daughter to learn about the different emotions and some strategies for calming down, when needed! She uses some of the breathing exercises and even taught some of them to the family! She loved the teachers she had. We’ve completely the class several times so unfortunately it’s time to move on! Hoping we can get a next level class on the same day! 🙂
