Katie is really wonderful. Unlike some of the other feelings classes my son has taken, this one is geared well for younger kids. He has been in several of Katie’s sessions for this class. She has that delicate balance of interaction and classroom management. She also makes things easy to understand and engages each child so that they feel heard. Katie’s personality is wonderful, she has a lot of warmth my son loved her.

My neurodivergent daughter has been in this class for about 18 weeks and I feel like I saw a year of improvement and maturity in my kid. We went from tantrums that were disrupting class time and her learning to her being able to help others in the calm corner and use tools that she learned in this space. Teachers, grandparents, friends have noticed and asked what is different since my daughter is presenting happier, confident, and overall more regulated. I definitely would recommend approaching this like a new skill that the child is learning not a quick fix for a behavior. My child is excited and committed to this class the same as math or science. we are here, and we will stay here and grow with Bella.
